Car Crashes into Home and Sets Home on Fire

At approximately 11:40 on the morning September 3 we were dispatch to the area of 121st St and Elwood for a car vs house. Upon arrival the back side of the home was fully involved with a car inside the dining room area. The homeowners were inside when the accident occurred and instructed the driver to get out that the car was on fire. Jenks Fire/Rescue and Glenpool fire battled the blaze and was able to save the front half of the home. Nobody was injured during the accident. EMSA was on stand by during fire attack. JPD was able to locate and take into custody the driver of the car.
